Application Note: LC-Injection With Derivitization/Agitation

Description: This macro is specifically designed to take reagent from a reagent tray, move this reagent volume to the sample, then move the sample plus the reagent to the agitator, mix and heat sample, and inject the sample into LC injection valve

Benefit/Use: Used for adding a temperature dependant derivitization for pre-column detector improvement.

Equipment Requirements: The PAL Consists of a robotic XYZ unit with a large capacity for sample preparation as well as injection. The autosampler, being a versatile unit with many possible configurations, must have all positions set up correctly by a LEAP qualified installer. Periodic checks of all positions are required by the end-user to ensure proper operation of the autosampler in the future.

Required Special PAL Objects and Settings: Magnetic lower needle guide for magnetic transfer of 2mL vials. Agitator (PAL.AGIT) for heating and agitating samples in Aux 2 2mL vial inserts for adapting the spaces of the agitator for 2mL vials
